Great and very fancy steakhouse! Had the hibachi with the family, including my 5 year old son. Had a couple of drinks. Staff was very friendly. We had to wait a bit (it was Friday night) but not that much. Place is beautiful, easy to park. It is a trip just to get there, up the hill!

We celebrated my daughter's birthday at Mt Fuji last evening. The whole family had a great time. My grandsons ages 7,5 and 4 were delighted by the chef's (DIDi) culinary skills and show (which he adapted partly for the kids), he had us all singing along laughing and clapping. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all. Our server Ivan was a gem, any special request was cheerfully accommodated and made us all feel special. The birthday girl was visited by the Birthday Dragon and our whole section of the restaurant joined us in singing Happy Birthday to her. This was the 2nd year we went here for her birthday and I'm thinking it will be the tradition going forward

Mt. Fuji is an amazing experience. From the moment that you begin your drive up the mountain, you could sense that you're in for something memorable. The parking lot is ample and, if you wish, they have valet parking available. The grounds of this restaurant is on another level. It's decorated with statutes, a koi pond, beautiful trees, and a stunning entrance. Upon entering, you'll be graciously welcomed by an elegant staff. If you have a few minutes to wait for your reservation, you can enjoy a drink at their elegant bar area. There is plenty of comfortable seats and majestic views of mountains and Rt. 87. The hibachi time is always entertaining. Our Chef, Modi, has been the best I have ever experienced. He was funny, knew various languages, knew music from different genres, and created indelible moments. The same goes for the food. The chicken, filet mignon, prime sirloin, scallops, and accompaniments were delectable. The service is always impeccable and every course is well presented. The waitstaff works at a perfect pace and they do a magnificent job at making you comfortable and satisfied. I HIGHLY recommend Mt. Fuji. It is a wonderful location for celebrations, great views, and delicious food.

Everything was wonderful from the service to the food. Our party of eight had a whole table to ourselves so that made the experience even more fun for us. We enjoyed 5 different adult hibachi meals and 3 different kids meals. The Japanese Kagua beer was amazing. My kids who only eat nuggets and fries actually feasted on their meals of hibachi fried rice, noodles, chicken, and tempura shrimp. They even loved the hibachi zucchini! Which shocked everyone. Our chef was very entertaining and engaged everyone which was very nice. Overall, we could not have been happier and already decided we're going to come back for my birthday, mostly because the kids had such a wonderful experience and for once explored different foods and flavors.

A nice place to bring guests & do special parties - the grounds are well-kept and even the statues and decorations are not those cheap, cheesy ones. They even have a koi pond outside! My workplace had our holiday party and had 19 ppl across 2 hibachi tables. We were a bit cramped but managed. Food-wise, everything was slightly better than your mall hibachi, which isn't saying much. I had the filet mignon & scallops and they kinda burned the scallop a bit... and their two dipping sauces were ... a bit of a miss. Usually you'd have the beige one that's sort of creamy with a kick but instead it was too overpowering with mustard... and the soya-type sauce was just meh... instead of being more tangy & flavorful. The salad they gave had was literally swimming in the ginger carrot dressing that it was too salty, and their chicken karage app was just so-so. I did however, enjoy their Old Fashioned w/ Japanese whiskey. The entertainment factor was good - the chefs were fun and the guests had a good time. Now, it was also my birthday celebration so we had brought a cake, and they insisted on $2 per person cutting charge... even if only 10 people were going to eat the cake. We weren't informed ahead of time so I tried to talk to the manager guy who was like "it's policy" which is a synonym for poor communication. After a bit of wrangling, he agreed to take some drinks off the menu but yeah, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I mean, what's with the artificial rule? Just do a per plate cutting charge. I'd advise owners to train the employees a bit better. (chef & servers were very pleasant) Service can definitely be improved and food can be better but to be fair, for the ambiance and price point, it isn't bad. However, for me it's a one-time and done deal. I would rather pay more to get better hibachi and better service elsewhere than track all the way here.

We came here on a whim after a giants game because of how cool it looked. There was a wait but they have a beautiful bar/lounge you can wait in. The drinks were well priced and delicious. It must have been our lucky night because someone cancelled their reservation for a private hibachi table and it was kindly offered to us. We had to take off our shoes for the private table and it was super cozy. The wait staff was very kind and patient while we decided. The hibachi chef was very friendly and fun. The best part about this place was how great the food was! The best onion mushroom soup we've had! I got the filet Hibachi Steak and it melted in my mouth it was so good. The only thing I didn't like was the sauces. I'm not sure what they were but they didn't taste very good. Otherwise everything was wonderful and I'll definitely be back when I want to splurge again.

This is hands down the best Hibachi food anywhere. Besides the views and the grounds that are amazing the staff is great. The bar has a wide selection and the bartenders are spot on. The hibachi chefs are the best anywhere and you would be hard pressed to find better. Every time we come here it's great and anyone that comes with us always loves this spot.
